Moles can show up at different times in peoples lives. This is due to the mole be effected by environmental factors. Moles are normally not harmful but you should be aware of your moles appearance in case it changes.
Moles can be flat, raised, round, small or large. They come individually or in clusters. Moles can darken as you age or if you’re pregnant, or they may even go away. One thing that isn’t normal with moles is inflammation. Mole inflammation may be a sign that there are problems with the mole tissue.
You can exam a mole by taking a piece of the mole tissue. Moles are generally not harmful but some moles can become inflamed if they are cancerous. This is unlikely but people with many moles on their body experience it more often.
Moles can become inflamed when they are rubbed too much. This causes them to become irritated and inflamed. If this is the case consult your doctor about having the mole removed from the problem area.
Sometimes a mole can be infected when it is nicked. Apply antibacterial lotion or cream to the region and keep it protected before it heals. If it becomes a problem seek out a physician.
Try to avoid scratching a mole even if it is irritating you. When you scratch a mole it can become infected and inflamed. Apply creams or lotions to the area to stop the itching.
